Any license you like
The image installs with the built-in Windows trial, so the server works right away. Activate it with a retail key, a volume key or whatever your licensing setup is. Nothing is bolted onto the invoice.
Any software you need
Full Administrator access over RDP: install IIS, MS SQL, 1C, trading terminals, .NET services or anything else the job calls for. It is your machine.
Console when RDP fails
Locked yourself out with a firewall rule? The browser console in the panel works even when RDP does not, so you can always get back in.
NVMe under the OS
Windows updates, SQL databases and application installs are disk-heavy. NVMe keeps the machine responsive where SATA-era VPS hosts crawl.
Reinstall any time
Switch between Windows versions, or from Windows to Linux and back, from the panel. The plan stays, the OS changes.
Daily backups

Common Windows workloads
The typical Windows VPS here is a remote workplace: a desktop that lives in the data center, reachable from a laptop, a thin client or a phone, always on and always in the same state. Traders run terminals on it so an unstable home connection cannot interrupt an order. Accountants run 1C on it so the database sits next to the application instead of crossing an office VPN.
The second group is services: IIS sites, .NET APIs, MS SQL Express backends and Windows-only integrations that a Linux fleet cannot host. For those, plans from Basic (8 GB RAM) upward are the sensible floor, and the private network connects them to Linux machines in the same region for free.

Can I install any software I want?
Yes. You get full Administrator access, so you install what the job needs: trading terminals, 1C, IIS, MS SQL, custom software. No app whitelist, no manager approval.
Which Windows versions can I install?
Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025. Pick the version in the cart or reinstall to a different one later from the control panel.
How do I connect to the server?
Over standard RDP (Remote Desktop) with the Administrator password shown in the panel, or through the browser console when RDP is not an option, for example behind a strict office firewall.
How much RAM does Windows need?
Windows Server itself is comfortable from 4 GB. For a desktop-style workload or 1C take 8 GB or more: the Basic plan with 8 GB and 120 GB NVMe is the usual starting point.
Where can the server run?
Riga, Latvia (RIX1) or Amsterdam, Netherlands (NL1), at the same price. Both locations run the same NVMe platform.
How fast is it online?
Windows images take a little longer than Linux to deploy, but the server is typically ready within a few minutes of payment, with RDP details in the panel.
